About the event

The next monthly UniMind session is coming up and in line with the current season it will be about the magical world of fungi! 🍄🍁

It will take place on Monday, the 23.10.2023 from 17.00 - 19.00 in the faculty of behavioral and social sciences. That is Grote Kruisstraat 2, room Hv.313, which is located on the third floor of the Heymansgebouw.

This month we are going to delve into the biggest living organism on earth, that can also glow in the dark, turn ants into zombies, and serves as the internet of the forest. It can also make humans hallucinate!

We will discuss how different fungi communicate, procreate, and develop symbiotic relationships with the surrounding life. Moreover, we will cover the medicinal properties of some species of fungi, including psilocybin mushrooms.
